Camino de Santiago Stages from Palas de Rei
Palas de Rei is the start and end point of several stages on the Camino Francés. You are just 65 km from Santiago de Compostela, with only 3 stages left before reaching the Cathedral.
A stage that crosses the Serra de Ligonde through landscapes of oak and eucalyptus forests. You will pass through Gonzar, Castromaior with its pre-Roman hillfort, and Ventas de Narón before arriving in Palas de Rei.
One of the most beautiful stages on the Camino Francés. Leave Casa Andaina and walk through Galician hamlets, cross the Río Pambre beside the medieval castle and reach Melide, famous for its octopus. From there, continue on to Arzúa.
